What is Open Source?

When a program or software is open source then this program and software is free of cost in the market. Open source program is modify by anyone and often developed by a single origination. There are many open source software in market

Types of Operating System:-

1.       GUI

2.       Multi-user

3.       Multiprocessing

4.       Multitasking 

5.       Multithreading

GUI: -   GUI is Graphic User Interface, GUI is operating system is use to graphic mode and icon and user can use the computer by mouse.


Multi-User: -   A Multi- User operating system allows for multi user ca user the multi operating system in same time and different time is call multi-user operating System.



Multiprocessing: - The operating system can user more than one computer to another computer processing then is call to multiprocessing operating system. This operating system is mostly used in high level servers.



 Multitasking: - This operating system that capable is allow multiple software in an one time that is called multitasking operating system.




Multithreading: - This operating system is that allow multiple software are used in one operating system is called Multithreading operating system.
